Just Login to your Gmail account and then you can see the screen alert just like in below picture.
Then click on the box that ishighlighted in above picture and then enter mobile number.
Now you can see an option send sms right to your number click on it Then you can find a pop up box just like below
Enter all the details and click save.
then you can find a chat box at right side bottom of your Gmail account..
